 Samopomich reports forgery in the parliament and revokes its votes supporting the law on the abolition of VAT on imported components for defense industry

The complete Samopomich faction in the Verkhovna Rada has revoked its votes for the law #1694 "On Amendments to the Article 197 of the Tax Code of Ukraine (regarding creation of favorable conditions for fulfillment of contracts and agreements under the state defense order)" claiming the forgery of documents in Parliament.

Head of the faction Oleh Bereziuk said from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada that Samopomich and Batkivshchyna factions have exposed falsehood and forgery during voting for the bill.

"We have adopted two amendments which were not considered by the Committees and were not voted. We knew nothing about them," Bereziuk said noting that the full faction withdrew its votes.

"We are asking the head of the Verkhovna Rada to launch internal investigation on forgery and untruthful information that was submitted in the Session's Hall for voting," Bereziuk said.

In turn, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine speaker Volodymyr Hroisman professed that this was news for him and gave corresponding instructions to the secretariat to investigate this case.
