"Kyiv police initiated criminal proceedings under Article 115 of the Criminal Code - premeditated murder."

Herashchenko stressed that "the following theories will be considered:

"1. Political activity of Kalashnykov, including those related to participation in organization, financing, and moderation of the so-called 'titushki' Anti-Maidan in Mariinskyi Park.

2. Business interests, including issues of loans and debts.

3. Personal relationships.

4. Robbery.

5. Other versions.

"No doubt the deceased knew very much about who and how financed the Anti-Maidan, that cost Yanukovych and his camarilla several million hryvnia per day.

"He will take these secrets to his grave. But not only Kalashnykov knew a lot about who and how financed the Anti-Maidan. As they say, manuscripts don't burn!" he concluded.
