Сommenting on the Berlin talks, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine spokesperson Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday that "Pavlo Klimkin briefed the participants of the meeting with Ukraine's vision of how to ensure implementation of the reached agreements. In our point of view, a civil military mission to support implementation of the Minsk agreements, or in other words, a peacekeeping force, could become such an instrument," Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.
According to Perebyinis, the minister has provided the rationale and reasoning for the necessity to introduce such a mission. They were generally taken by the participants. "We expect that discussion on the ways of actual implementation of such an initiative will be resumed both in New York and Brussels in the near future," he said.
