SBU Chairman Valentyn Nalyvaichenko stated that neither the agency he is in charge of nor the Prosecutor General's Office "have heavy charges” against oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.

He said it at a meeting of the anti-corruption committee, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

"The Security Service of Ukraine has not opened any criminal proceedings (against Akhmetov). Moreover, all available proofs are checked by the Prosecutor General's Office in the framework of the joint investigation. We know that they still have no heavy charges to be laid as well," he said.
