 Surkov was at SBU facility in Kyiv when Maidan activists were shot; Yanukovych himself ran the operation - Nalyvaichenko

The SBU stated that the Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Assistant Vladislav Surkov, who is known as Kremlin’s spymaster in Ukraine, was in Kyiv during the mass execution of protesters on the Maidan.

Security Service of Ukraine Chairman Valentyn Nalyvaichenko said at a meeting of the anti-corruption committee, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

According to Nalyvaichenko, Surkov lived in the SBU safe house in Kyiv on Feb. 20 and 21 together with the SBU Chairman of that time Oleksandr Yakymenko, and was using special communication.

According to Nalyvaichenko, Surkov visited presidential administration at that time as well.

Nalyvaichenko also confirmed the words of the Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin that the execution of protesters on Maidan was ran by the ex-president Viktor Yanukovych.
