"The Easter holiday has not prevented the Russian-terrorist forces to cynically violate the agreement on heavy artillery withdrawal from the demarcation line as well as cease-fire deal. The gangs conducted a total of 18 attacks on our troops' positions from 6 p.m. to midnight," the statement reads.
According to the headquarters, the heaviest enemy strikes were recorded in the Donetsk region: "The enemy conducted seven attacks on our positions near the village of Opytne, six assaults near the village of Shyrokyne, four times in the vicinity of Pisky village using 122-millimeter caliber artillery, tanks, mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and firearms.
"In the Luhansk region, the gangs shelled our checkpoint near Triokhizbenka village from 8.25 to 9.00 p.m.," the press center reports.
In addition, it is noted that six reconnaissance flights of enemy drones were recorded over Starobilsk, Triokhizbenka, Shchastia, Novotoshkivka, Stanytsia Luhanska, Sokilnyky.
There were no attacks on cities and villages recorded in this period.
