 Ukraine will treat introduction of Russian 'peacekeepers' as act of aggression

Ukraine will regard introduction of the so-called Russian 'volunteer brigade' as an act of aggression.

Deputy ATO Commander Colonel Valentyn Fedychev said on Channel 112, Censor.NET reports citing Liga.NET.

As he explained, there is the so-called Russian 'volunteer brigade', which might be introduced in the Donbas as a peacekeeping mission.

"If they enter Ukraine as peacekeepers, it will mean the end of the Minsk Agreements. We will regard such actions as aggression," he stressed.

In two weeks, the State Duma, Russia's lower house of parliament, might appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin to deploy Russian peacekeepers in the Donbas to monitor the "observance of the cease-fire."
