 Shokin announces future detention of ministers and officials: "I just don’t want to spoil the mood before Easter"

Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin announced arrests of certain Cabinet ministers and officials of the current government.

He stated this in an interview with LB.ua, Censor.NET reports.

"Everything is crystal clear: if you did something illegal, you will have to answer for it. I don't care whether you are from "this" power or "that" - you will answer. By the way, after the holidays you will learn many interesting things on the subject. I do not want to spoil people's mood just before Easter. [The mood of] some ministers and some other people. But, you'll see," Shokin said.

When asked about whether it is possible to consider his statement an announcement of future detention of ministers, he said: "You'll see. Ministers, heads of different agencies."
