Observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine inspected the five places where the Ukrainian armed forces hold heavy weapons withdrawn from the front line.

According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the OSCE mission report on the situation as of 6 p.m. April 7.

"The SMM visited five Ukrainian Armed Forces holding areas for heavy weapons. At all the locations, the SMM could verify that all weapons were in situ. All the locations comply with the respective withdrawal lines," the report says.

On Feb. 12, agreements were signed in Minsk aimed at putting an end to the fighting in the Donbas. The corresponding document was signed by representatives of the Tripartite Liaison Group on resolving the conflict in Eastern Ukraine, which included representatives from Ukraine, Russia, the OSCE and the terrorists. Separately, the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, France and Germany adopted a declaration in support of this document. But a comprehensive cease-fire did not take place. The Minsk agreement also provides for removal of heavy weapons from the demarcation line in the Donbas. The parties accuse each other of disrupting all these agreements.
