About 1,100 armored vehicles and 700 tanks are in service with the pro-Russian militants, as well as hundreds of units of other military equipment provided to them by the Kremlin. Besides, there are 9,000 contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the occupied territories of the Donbas.

Anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Deputy Commander, Colonel Valentyn Fedychev announced, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

"They have 700 tanks, more than 1,100 armored combat vehicles, nearly 600 units of artillery, more than 380 multiple rocket launchers, and 110 air defense facilities," he said. There are also 9,000 regular servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

"All of the Russian Federation citizens who have become mercenaries and volunteered must return to Russia. When foreigners leave the territory of Ukraine, the citizens of our state will restore peace and territorial integrity very quickly, as well as regain full control over the state border of Ukraine. This is the shortest path for the lifting of economic sanctions against the Russian Federation," he said.
