 President proposed to create OSCE observation points in Donetsk airport, Avdiivka, Pisky, and Shyrokyne

President Petro Poroshenko held a meeting of the NSDC Military Cabinet. The Head of State initiated a discussion on the increase of interaction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Security Service with the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission.

"I emphasize the exceptional importance of coordination with representatives of the OSCE, the OSCE SMM to prove strict adherence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the orders of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the Minsk agreements," the Head of State said. According to him, it is necessary to demonstrate to entire world that the Ukrainian party fulfills the undertaken commitments. At the same time, Russian-backed militants and regular troops of Russia violate the agreements: do not withdraw the artillery, carry out mortar shelling, use tanks.

The Head of State noted that the intensity of work and pressure in the issue of release of all hostages should be increased. The president has mentioned the efforts of the Security Service officials, including the First Deputy Head of the Security Service Vasyl Hrytsak, in the recent liberation of 16 hostages.

Petro Poroshenko has also emphasized the need for creating observation points in the most dangerous locations of the buffer area. Particularly, it goes about the Donetsk airport, Avdiivka, Pisky,and Shyrokyne.

According to the president, a detailed road map on the international peacekeeping mission should be elaborated in order to accelerate the beginning of its work in Ukraine.
