Censor.NET reports citing the statement of the Prosecutor General's Office press service.
Investigators and prosecutors searched the homes and work places of previously detained law enforcement officers.
"The funds, including bribes, namely $110,000 and 2,750,000 (about $120,000) hryvnia were seized within these investigative activities. In addition, the documents and records which provide ample evidence of them taking regular monthly bribes from businessmen who were engaged in both legal and illegal business were seized," the statement reads.
Main Military Prosecutor's Office employees are carrying out pre-trial investigation.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine Spokesman Sviatoslav Tseholko wrote on Facebook that "the handcuffs were put on the city prosecutor just during the entrance of the new prosecutor of the Donetsk region upon office. The operation took place in the framework of the fight against corruption in the ATO area."
