 Cabinet initiates condemnation of Communist and Nazi regimes in Ukraine and prohibition of their propaganda - Yatseniuk

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine initiates condemnation of the Communist and Nazi regimes and the ban on their promotion in Ukraine.

Prime Minister Yatseniuk stated when opening the government meeting, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"The government has prepared a draft law on condemnation of the Communist and Nazi totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and the prohibition of their propaganda. We have prepared this bill," he said.

Yatseniuk urged the parliamentary coalition of factions to urgently consider and support it.

It was previously reported that the Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko intended to appeal to the parliament to ban the Communist and Fascist ideologies. The Ministry of Justice has asked the court to prohibit the Communist Party activity on July 8, 2014.
