 Sloviansk ex-mayor promises to provide documents naming sponsors of the war in Donbas

Former mayor of the city of Sloviansk (Donetsk region) Nelia Shtepa stated that she had documents with information about people who financed illegal armed groups in the Donbas. According to her, all of these documents are currently stored in one of the banks in Kyiv, and she is ready to share them with the law enforcement agencies.

She stated this during a meeting of the Chervonozavodskyi Court of Kharkiv, Censor.NET reports citing depo.ua.

"I appeared in the Security Service of Ukraine with documents which confirm who started the war, who paid for the war. Volodymyr Kulmatytskyi (former deputy of Shtepa - ed.) had a copy of the documents, but he is not here today, he was killed. But the documents have not been found," Shtepa said.

According to her, all these documents are currently in one of the banks in Kyiv, and she is ready to provide them to the law enforcement agencies.

The court granted the prosecution's motion and extended Shtepa's arrest until May 28.
