Pechersk court did not arrest former head of State Emergency Service Bochkovskyi

Kyiv Pechersk District Court refused to arrest former chairman of the State Emergency Serhii Bochkovskyi and sent the relevant motion back to the Interior Ministry. Earlier, the prosecutors withdrew the move to detain the former head of the Emergency Service.

The corresponding petition was announced by the prosecutor in court, where a measure of restraint was to be elected, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainian News.

According to the prosecutor, a petition to withdraw the move is motivated by the fact that there is no evidence of Bochkovskyi's alleged guilt in the crime he is being charged with.

In order to elect a measure of restraint, the documents must be further examined.
