"I was at a meeting, half an hour after a TV show, when I got a call that the car in which he (Voznik - ed.) was traveling with his wife, son and two guards was shot at from a blue Chevy Lacetti at the crossroad of Cheliuskintsiv and Vatutina streets. Roman and Grek (bodyguard) died, thank God, Nastia (wife) and the son were not injured..." he wrote.
Voznik's car was shot out at the intersection of Cheliuskintsiv and Vatutina streets. His bodyguard was also killed. The killers fled the scene.
