He noted that the law enforcement personnel has completed searches in the offices of the dismissed Head of the State Emergency Service Serhii Bochkovskyi and his deputy Vasyl Stoietskyi, who were arrested at the Cabinet meeting on March 25.
According to Avakov, during a search the law enforcement officers confiscated certificates for offshore companies. The Interior Minister also showed confiscated bank cards in the name of Bochkovskyi.
The minister is convinced that this 'interesting scheme' involves more than the two officials detained yesterday. Avakov said that the heads of Emergency Service regional departments have been suspended from duties and each of them is under investigation. "All [regional] heads are now suspended and are under investigations. The day after tomorrow (March 27 - ed.) I will invite them to come to Kyiv for a meeting in the State Emergency Service. Or their deputies. If you do not come - then you are a thief and a bribe taker, and you are afraid," the Minister of Internal Affairs said.
