Defense Ministry lacks 677 million hryvnia for food for military personnel

The personnel of the armed forces are lacking 677 million hryvnia for food supplies.

This was announced today during a press conference of Director of the Department of Public Procurement and Supply of Material Resources of the Defense Ministry Nelli Stelmakh, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

"In terms of feeding we are lacking somewhere around 677 million hryvnia ... Given the past fourth wave of mobilization, the spring conscription, which is just beginning, fifth and sixth waves of mobilization and fall conscription, I think that our army will consist of 250,000 people, thus, as of today, there is not enough resources ... We have two solutions: either to reallocate resources within the budget of the Defense Ministry or to request additional financial resources," Stelmakh said.
