Russia-backed militants routinely violate cease-fire – U.S. Department of State

The terrorists in the east of Ukraine supported by the Russian Federation routinely violate the truce and cross the demarcation line.

U.S. Department of State spokesperson Marie Harf stated on Monday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

Harf said that the United States continues to see a growing discrepancy between the Russia and the separatists' words and actions.

According to her, the Russian Federation and the militants insist that they observe the cease-fire, but in practice they regularly violate it.

In this regard the U.S. Department of State spokesperson confirmed that the militants often cross the demarcation line and commit attacks during the agreed truce.

Harf added that the price for Russia and the separatists, whom it supports, will raise if they do not fulfill their obligations under the Minsk agreements.
