This was stated by Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksandr Turchinov today during celebrations to mark the first anniversary of the Kulchytskyi National Guard battalion, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"We understand that time is limited, that Putin is preparing for a new large-scale military operation, which is why our goal is not to lose these days, these hours, to strengthen our army, the National Guard, to build a powerful line of defense, leaving everything else to make up for those losses of weapons and equipment that have taken place. To be prepared to meet the enemy and be ready to win," Turchinov said.
According to him, in spite of the so-called cease-fire, the attacks in the ATO area continue, although with less intensity.
"We understand that the enemy has not stopped, the enemy is preparing for a new aggression. And during the first days after the Minsk Agreement salvo systems have started to fire from that side," Turchynov said.
