Deployment of Russian weapons in Crimea will put an end to diplomacy – U.S. State Department

госдеп state department

Crimea was and remains a part of Ukraine, thus any increase in military activity in its territory will be considered an attempt to undermine the peace process to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.

This was stated by U.S. State Department spokesman Jen Psaki, Censor.NET report citing Ukrinform.

Commenting on Russia's forces, she stated that any Russian military exercises and deployment of weapons in the territory of Crimea, which is part of Ukraine, will further undermine the implementation of subsequent peaceful diplomatic solutions to the crisis unleashed by Russia by starting a forceful capture and occupation of the Ukrainian peninsula.
