A man who died in the intensive care unit after he had been violently beaten near the Silikatnaya subway station in Moscow, turned out to be a 37-year-old citizen of Ukraine Roman Muzychenko.

Surveillance camera recorded the crowd of young people approached a man standing on the edge of the platform and started to beat him. The man died in the intensive care unit without regaining consciousness a week after the attack.

The investigators determined that a group of 21 persons with an average age of members from 15 to 20 years were involved in the attack on the man. The Russian law enforcers stated that the attack was ethnically motivated.

It became known that the attackers are going in for pankration - the martial art which is a blend of boxing and wrestling.
