The tranche amounts to almost $230,000 and includes night vision equipment. This was announced by the press officer of the Joint Staff of the Ukrainian Army Oleksii Mazepa at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.
"Ukrainian army received the first tranche of the humanitarian aid from Canada yesterday," he said.
"These are 60 night vision devices. Total value of the tranche is $226,890," Mazepa added.
As reported, Canada agreed to allocate $11 million in non-lethal support for Ukraine.
