"Since the beginning of the ATO, the militants irretrievably lost more than 14,600 personnel, nearly 260 tanks and 340 armored combat vehicles, almost 170 MLRS, up to 190 artillery systems, 16 airplanes and helicopters, 10 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 360 vehicles," Fedichev said.
He stressed that the vast majority of the military equipment was brought in from the territory of Russia, and "the Ukrainian military turned it into a pile of scrap metal."
"Since the beginning of 2015, the militants of the so-called first and second army corps of the 'DPR' and 'LPR' lost more than 6,400 personnel, including 1,995 militants at the Debaltseve direction, among them paratroopers and marines of the Russian armed forces," the ATO deputy commander stated.
Valentyn Fedichev reminded that after Feb. 15, 2015, since the announcement of the truce, the enemy lost nearly 1,300 personnel, including 600 at the Debaltseve direction as a result of continuing attempts to storm the ATO positions and subsequent return fire to their provocations.
"That is the truth of the undeclared war. We hope that the flow of cargo-200 [dead bodies - ed.] to Russia will bring reason to Russian politicians and the people of Russia deceived by them," the Colonel concluded.
