 Poroshenko hopes to receive 500 million euro bailout from Germany by April

After talks with Angela Merkel, Petro Poroshenko thanked the German government for the decision to provide Ukraine with a loan of 500 million euros.

The president expects to sign an agreement with Germany on the allocation of financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of EUR 500 million before April 1, 2015, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"We are very grateful to the German government for its decision on the allocation of EUR 500 million to support Ukraine, including the EUR 200 million to be allocated for the macro-economic support. We hope that the agreement will be signed before April 1. Tomorrow we are expecting for the German delegation in Kyiv," the president told reporters after talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on Monday.
