 Ukraine and Poland signed security cooperation agreement. PHOTOS

The agreement on cooperation between the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) and the National Security Bureau of Poland (BBN) signed in Warsaw Thursday, March 5.

The document was signed by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov and Chairman of BBN Stanislaw Koziey, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"We have signed a protocol on cooperation between the NSDC and BBN. It evidences the necessity and desire of cooperation between the two agencies as well as the implementation of the will of our presidents, which they have recently expressed during celebration of the Euromaidan anniversary in Kyiv," Koziey said.

According to him, the agreement provides for cooperation in regional security of both countries.



The BBN chairman said that the parties will cooperate in Ukraine's rapprochement with the EU and NATO, prepare the general strategic plans in the field of security, hold meetings at various levels, as well as the conduct the exchange of information of mutual interest.
