 More than 400 Ukrainians held captive by terrorists - Poroshenko

Poroshenko states that the terrorists hold more than 400 prisoners. The location of 190 of them is already known to the Ukrainian authorities.

He said this in a statement after the meeting with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"The location of 190 out of more than 400 hostages was specified to the Russian Federation and we are looking forward for the fulfillment of the obligations regarding the release of the hostages as soon as possible," the president said.

At the same time, Poroshenko stressed that he also expects the implementation of agreements reached in Minsk (Belarus) Feb. 12, concerning the exchange of hostages in 'all for all' format.
