People brought flowers and candles. They were silent, many had tears in their eyes, a blogger who participated in the commemoration wrote in his livejournal blog, Censor.NET informs.
"The people also came to Maidan to another commemoration spot of this extraordinary and surprisingly decent politician. Ukrainians could not ignore Boris's death. He was one of the few Russian politicians who never slang mud at Ukrainians, never supported the war and separatists, and never tried to make enemies of Russia and Ukraine, but only the closest friends. There are not many people at the embassy simultaneously, around 15-20, but there are lots of flowers, candles and messages on the embassy fence and around.
The silence was oppressive - everybody was quiet, even the ubiquitous TV crews. Rest in peace, Boris. You were a true man. We cherish the memory of you," the blogger wrote.
