"The National Security and Defense Council made it clear: we are ready for this [the cease-fire - ed.]. We have prepared all necessary fields for this. But of course, the OSCE mission should confirm that it is started simultaneously by both parties. One-sided cease-fire, like it happened a few months ago when our soldiers had been dying, is not possible. One-sided withdrawal of heavy weapons is not possible. This all should be implemented concisely, simultaneously, in a coordinated way, and controlled by the OSCE. This is the only way to proceed," he said.
Besides, Klimkin emphasized the necessity to enlarge the OSCE mission's presence on the territory controlled by the terrorists.
