Ukrainian soldiers keep maintaining positions and repulsing the terrorists' attacks, who continue to shell and attempt attacks.

This was announced by the ATO press center, Censor.NET reports.

"As of 7 a.m. of Feb. 2, the ATO forces keep maintaining positions and inflicting losses to the enemy. According to preliminary data, 180 terrorists were killed on Feb. 1, and 248 wounded. Besides, the mercenaries lost four main guns.

"The night of Monday was restless; Russian terrorist troops continued to shell the ATO positions as well as villages and towns.

"The terrorists shelled Debaltseve, Nikishyne, Chornukhyne, and Zolote from artillery, the latter for three times. An enemy's sniper was acting near Yunokomunarivsk between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

"Near Leninske village, the terrorists attempted an attack on the ATO forces, but retreated under Ukrainian soldiers' fire.

"Debaltseve was again shelled with Grads.

"At the Donetsk direction, the terrorists shelled Vodiane village with artillery three times, Tonenke for two times, as well as Opytne, Verkhniotoretske, and Novomykhailivka. Besides, the mercenaries shelled some villages directly, having fired twice at Pisky and Vodiane.

"At the Luhansk direction, the enemy shelled Shchastia and Vilkhova with Grads for four times, and Stanytsia Luhanska, Staryi Aidar, Sokilnyky, and Triokhizbenka with other weapons, the latter for three times.

"A tank was employed by the terrorists in Stanytsia Luhanska.

"At Mariupol area, it was relatively quiet after 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The terrorists broke the silence only between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. by shelling Chermalyk from small arms and grenade launchers," the message reads.
