The Russian Emergencies Ministry press service reported, Censor.NET informs citing TASS.
"The customs clearance procedures are over at Matveyev Kurgan and Donetsk checkpoints in the Rostov region; about 80 trucks head for Donetsk and another 80 for Luhansk," the Ministry representative said.
According to the Russian party, 160 trucks are delivering about 1,500 tones of humanitarian aid that includes food, medicines, essentials, and construction materials.
This is the 12th Russian "humanitarian convoy" since August 2014 delivered to Donbas without authorization.
Since Ukrainian border guards were not allowed to the clearance, it remains unknown what the so-called humanitarian aid convoy carries. According to the NSDC, these trucks import ammunition and weapons to the terrorists-controlled territory.
