 Propagandists from Russian LifeNews TV channel will be deported from Ukraine - SBU

Adviser to the head of the SBU Markiian Lubkivskyi confirmed detention of two crew members from LifeNews, the Russian propaganda TV channel, noting that they will be expelled from the territory of Ukraine with a further ban on entry into the country for a period of three years.

He announced on his page on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"I confirm that the SBU has detained two journalists of LifeNews in Kyiv. Their permissions to stay in Ukraine were revoked and they will be expelled from the territory of Ukraine in the near future with the further ban on entering into the country for three years," Lubkivskyi wrote.

He added that the actions of these persons are regarded as incompatible with news making and as such that harm the national security and national interests of Ukraine.

At the same time Lubkivskyi did not specify the circumstances under which the journalists were arrested.
