As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, this was announced by Mykola Kuleba, Commissioner to the President on children's rights, at a press conference.
"According to preliminary data, about 50 children were killed in 2014, and 10 more this year," he said.
Kuleba noted that on Jan. 26, a child was severely injured in Avdiivka, the Donetsk region, due to the terrorists' shelling.
The child was rushed to a hospital with severe head injury.
Two children were killed during the terrorists' shelling of Mariupol, the Donetsk region, on Jan. 24.
