 Terrorists shelled Luhansk region with heavy artillery, killing two civilians

The terrorist shelled the goverment-controlled areas of the Luhansk region for 44 times over the past 24 hours.

The LPR militants have carried out heavy shelling with different types of weapons, including BM-21 Grad rocket systems, mortars, and tanks, Censor.NET informs citing Governor of the Luhansk region Hennadii Moskal's official website.

According to the governor, major flash point are Shchastia and Popasna towns, as well as Krymske, Troitske, Stanytsia Luhanska, and Novotoshkivka villages.

In the village of Troitske, a mortar shell fired by cossacks of the so-called "Great Don Army" killed a local 58-year-old man.

In Popasna town, a 50-year-old local resident was fatally wounded by fragments of a BM-21 Grad rocket.

As of 11 a.m. Sunday, it is relatively calm in other flashpoints of the Luhansk region.

"It is not completely calm, however, the intensity of the attacks decreased. The reason might be heavy fog," Moskal added.
