Anti-terrorist operation speaker, Colonel Andrii Lysenko announced today at the traditional daily briefing, Censor.NET reports.
Lysenko also noted that the militants' groups in key operational areas are replaced by the Russian Federation Armed Forces servicemen, whose total number on the terrorists-controlled territories reached the highest level since the beginning of the conflict in the Donbas - there are over 9,000 troops currently.
"The Russian Federation Armed Forces command provides continuous supply of manpower and military equipment, reinforced by air defense systems, means of communication, intelligence, and electronic warfare to the combat operational zone. The ammunition is also delivered in large numbers through uncontrolled sections of the Ukrainian-Russian border - about 30-40 trucks per day. Certain Russian Armed Forces' units, in particular the 20th Guards Army of the Western military District of the Russian Federation Armed Forces (originally based in the Nizhny Novgorod region) are relocated for this purpose to the border with our country as well as to ensure rotation of the Russian military," the ATO speaker said.
