 Minister of Economy intends to bring Ukraine into the top 50 countries in terms of doing business within two years

Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius expects Ukraine's entry into the top 50 countries in terms of doing business in the next two years.

He said this in an interview with Novoie Vremia, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainian News.

"We intend to get into the top 50 for the next two years expanding foreign markets of Ukrainian goods and reducing the government's role in business," the minister said.

He recalled that the current main task of the Ministry is to improve the investment climate in Ukraine.

"This means deregulation, introduction of e-Government and support for European standardization," Abromavicius said.

At this point, according to the minister, Ukraine is on the 96th place among 189 countries in the World Bank's Doing Business ranking.
