Terrorists in Donbas doubled their weapons during cease-fire - U.S. Army in Europe Commander

Russian-terrorist forces in eastern Ukraine have significantly increased the number of weapons since the introduction of the cease-fire in September.

This was stated by Commander of the U.S. ground forces in Europe, Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

Comparing the number of Russian equipment which was used prior to the Minsk agreements and now, it has doubled since December. Now the terrorists have hundreds of units of modern equipment available, Hodges said.

According to him, the quality and quantity of the UAVs and technical intelligence for artillery direction possessed by the terrorist groups in Ukraine suggests direct military support from Russia. Hodges noted that the terrorists could not produce the weapons themselves, thus it is obvious that the rebels receive direct assistance from Russia to fight the Ukrainian forces.
