 International investors intend to provide $1 billion for development of Ukraine’s economy - Poroshenko

President Petro Poroshenko declared the intention of international investors to provide $1 billion for the development of the Ukrainian economy.

He said this during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland), Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainian News.

"I want to thank the investors sitting in the front row, because they promised me to invest $600 million and $400 million into the economy of Ukraine," the president said.

According to Poroshenko, he and the Verkhovna Rada are aimed at building a country without corruption, which will help to attract new international investors.

Earlier, Poland voiced the intention of allocating EUR 100 million for the restoration of the Donbas and conduction of reforms.
