"The agreement on the construction of interconnector between Poland and Ukraine has ben signed. Interconnector, to put it in plain words, is a gas pipe between Poland and Ukraine," he said.

Yatseniuk noted that the new pipeline will be able to supply up to 10 billion cubic meters of gas annually from Europe.

According to him, it is not about increasing the reverse from the European Union, but about the access to gas from LNG-terminals in Lithuania and Poland.
