The battalion tactical groups of the Russian Armed Forces, which crossed the Ukrainian border today include about 600-700 Russian soldiers, the ATO speaker Andrii Lysenko stated, Censor.NET reports citing Zn.ua.
"Each battalion tactical group is about 300-350 people, and there are two of them," he explained.
Earlier, the National Security Council evaluated the number of such groups that operated in the Donbas in early Fall to be about 400 people.
According to Lysenko, the group of Russian troops crossed the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Luhansk region through the area, uncontrolled by the Ukrainian military. Its further direction is unknown.
