An Ural truck with Ukrainian servicemen tripped a land mine near the village of Teple (Stanytsia Luhanska district) yesterday, Jan. 13, around 1:00 p.m.

This is stated by the press service of the head of Luhansk Regional State Administration Hennadii Moskal, Censor.NET reports.

According to the statement, two soldiers of the 80th airmobile brigade were seriously injured. They were taken to the hospital of the town of Shchastia.

"A land mine was laid on the side of the road between Plotyna and Teple, which is about seven kilometers from the demarcation line of fire," Moskal said. "This means that terrorist reconnaissance and sabotage groups freely penetrate deep into the territory controlled by Ukraine and lay explosives which incapacitate military equipment and maim our security forces."

"Sabotages often occur in areas adjacent to Bakhmutka road," he noted.
