According to him, the Russian-terrorist troops use the so-called "truce" for organizational measures to improve the combat capability of the units. They also take measures to restore the equipment and weapons previously used in battles, as well as resupply their units with personnel. The increasing intensity of fire against the positions of the Ukrainian army is covered up by the enemy's active information campaign blaming the Ukrainian side in "disrupting the armistice."
"At Donetsk direction in the area of Mariupol, in the Luhansk region the enemy is redeploying military equipment and weapons to the front line. In the Donetsk region consolidated groups of Russian-terrorist troops (D-30 122 mm howitzers, 120-mm mortars, MRLS) resumed massive artillery shelling in the area of Avdiivka, Donetsk (western and north-western parts), and Horlivka (Kurganka area)," Tymchuk wrote.
He also noted that near Horlivka and Yasynovata the Ukrainian artillery suppressed several enemy firing points. As a result of successful fire they destroyed a battery of Russian-terrorist forces' cannon artillery.
