 Poroshenko approved Ukraine’s sustainable development strategy until 2020

President of Ukraine Poroshenko signed a decree "On the Strategy for Sustainable Development” – ‘Ukraine 2020’.

Note that the 'Strategy 2020' includes 62 reforms. Eight reforms and two programs from the decree were attached priority importance. 25 key indicators of the country's success were also established.

The reform of national security and defense system, cleansing of the ranks of power and anti-corruption reform, judicial and the law enforcement system reform, decentralization and public administration reform, deregulation and promotion of entrepreneurship, health care reform and tax reform were attached priority importance in particular.

The implementation of two programs - the energy independence and popularization of Ukraine in the world together with promotion of the country's interests in the global information space, is also among the priorities.

According to the decree, the Cabinet should annually (by Feb. 15) approve the action plan on the Strategy implementation and report on action plan's execution state on a quarterly basis.
