Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko needs a global support action – Feigin

The lawyer of Ukrainian Pilot Nadia Savchenko called for a global support action on Jan. 26.

Pilot's lawyer Mark Feigin called for a global action to support Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko detained in Russia, Censor.NET writes citing Pravda

"On Jan. 26, the first day of the winter PACE session, we call for a worldwide action to support Savchenko," he said.

Feigin added, however, that there are no particular leaders or organizers of the action.

"Coordinate and organize youself," Feigin said.

Nadia Savchenko was elected deputy from Yulia Tymoshenko's Batkivshchyna party in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. If she becomes a delegate to PACE from Ukraine and joins the diplomatic immunity, Russian authorities should release her from custody.

On Jan. 5 an online action to support Savchenko started. Activists write and spread on Twitter and Facebook materials informing about Ukrainian pilot with a #FreeSavchenko hashtag.
