According to Donetska Pravda, Dmitriev is registered employee of regional governmental agency "Rescue service of the Saratov region" of MES RF [EMERCOM], where he holds a post of a rescue ranger, Censor.NET reports.
In October 2014, Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Vladimir Puchkov presented Dmitriev with a medal "For efficiency in emergency recovery" in the flooded Komsomolsk-na-Amure.
"Upon his return from the Far East to Saratov, the rescue ranger decided to change his demesne and became head of regional office of "Volunteers association of Russia," which allegedly collects and sends humanitarian aid to the southeast of Ukraine. In July 2014, Dmitriev took a leave till November and went to the Eastern Ukraine," the newspaper reads.
According to the medium, last year terrorist Dmitriev was seen in Donetsk in the terrorist group of "Motorola" and in Luhansk in the terrorist group "Prizrak".
Newspaper Donetskaya Pravda claims that Mozgovoy, leader of the terrorist group "Prizrak", rewarded Dmitriev for zeal in slaughtering of Ukrainian civilians.
As reported earlier, on Dec. 18 President Putin said at his press conference that Russians fighting in Donbas are not mercenaries, but people following their hearts. Moreover, he declared that Russia would continue to help Donbas militants.
