 Terrorist from 'Vostok' battalion exchanged for four Ukrainian soldiers

Four more Ukrainian soldiers were freed from the terrorists' captivity on Friday, Jan.2. They include three soldiers from the Ukrainian Army and one from the 'Donbas' battalion.

This was announced by Yurii Bereza, 'People's Front' MP, commander of special regiment 'Dnipro-1' on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

According to him, the soldiers of the 'Dnipro-1' battalion captured a soldier from 'Vostok' terrorists' group on Dec. 29. The captive was brought to Dnipropetrovsk and interrogated. He was later sent to a hospital where he spent three days.

"He commited crimes worth of two life sentences. But today we exchanged him for three guys from the Army and one 'Donbas' battalion soldier, who was kept in a hollow with a cold injury," Bereza said.

He also announced the names of the released soldiers. According to the commander, the soldiers will proceed for further medical treatment.
