 Terrorists escalated shelling in the Luhansk region, two children wounded

Fire aggression of the so-called 'LPR' terrorists against Ukrainian-controlled territorry is getting escalated.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the Luhansk governor Hennadii Moskal on his website.

"Over the past day, Jan. 1, and in the night, there were nine cases of shelling in the Luhansk region from artillery, "Grad" MLRSes, mortarts, grenade machine guns, and small arms. The village of Chornukhyne of the Popasna district suffered the most, being shelled for four times during the day. Several houses were damaged," Moskal reported.

According to him, the city of Popasna was shelled for five times from mortars, no damages to infrastructure; the city of Hirske was shelled after 6 p.m. from artillery, no casualties; and the village of Zolote was shelled as well.

"On Jan. 1, at around 7:30 p.m., the terrorists shelled Zolote from Kirovsk direction. There were 20 fires from artillery," Moskal announced. "The shells exploded in a residential area, damaging an apartment building, and the blast broke windows in school and village council. Two children received light injuries as a result of the shelling. Authorities representatives and repairing brigades are operating at the cite," he said.
