"We're really going to buy from state-owned enterprises, including the ones that produce coal in the temporarily occupied territory, with control of the money being used solely for the wages to the miners, Ukrainian citizens," he said.
In addition, according to Poroshenko, Ukraine has agreed to purchase coal in Russia, though payment for it will be in foreign currency.
He also assured that there will be no other sources of coal.
"Smuggling of coal will be brought to an end," Poroshenko assured.
"We must clearly ensure that Ukraine will not cooperate with businesses working for terrorists and give them an opportunity to make money," Poroshenko said.
The head of state noted that the companies that re-registered in the territory of Ukraine and pay taxes have no trouble doing business.
