 Terrorists attacked Ukrainian army positions near Mariupol: one soldier killed - ATO headquarters


The clash with terrorists took place on the eastern outskirts of Mariupol yesterday. The National Guard soldier was killed as a result. The 'DPR' artillery also shelled the ATO forces near Hnutove village. Four Russian drones’ flights were registered during the night.

Head of the press service of the ATO headquarters in sector "M" Dmytro Horbunov informed 0629.com.ua, Censor.NET reports.

The DPR militants assaulted the ATO forces deployed east of Mariupol at about 8:00 p.m. yesterday. A 20-year-old soldier was killed in the clash where small arms were used.

According to the press service of the Azov regiment, it was a checkpoint guarded by the Azov soldiers. The wounded serviceman from the Azov regiment was taken to the hospital. However, the doctors could not save the soldier, and he died without regaining consciousness.

The Ukrainian troops' positions near the village of Hnutove were shelled this morning at 7:30 a.m. There were no casualties among the Ukrainian military.

Four UAVs were registered flying over the sector "M" in the evening and at night: at 7:56 p.m. - over Novoazovsk, at 9:00 p.m. - over Talakivka, at midnight over Sartana, and at 1:30 a.m. over Hnutove.
