"T-64B1 tanks have left for the army once again. Repair and modernization of the batch was conducted by experts of the state-owned enterprise Kharkiv Armor Tank Plant, owned by Ukroboronprom," the statement reads.
In addition, the hulls and turrets of the tanks equipped with Contact type dynamic protection for anti-tank weapons defense. Kharkiv Armor Tank Plant conducted current and reconstructive repairs of armored vehicles.
The report notes that President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko passed on the first batch of modernized T-64B1s on Dec. 6 in Chuhuiev. All the equipment was sent to the ATO area.
